• Anonymous-first. No account, name or email is needed to use Giftsnatch. Your session is a random id.
• Photos are never stored. If you add a photo in Step 1, it is analysed in memory by our AI provider to read style and vibe, then immediately discarded. It is not saved by us or retained for AI training.
• What we do keep: the chips you tap, your swipes and shortlist, and anonymous usage analytics (legitimate interest) - to make matching better.
• Buying. Purchases are made with the seller, who is the merchant of record and handles payment, delivery, refunds and returns. We never see or store card details. Some links to sellers are affiliate links - we may earn a commission at no cost to you.
• Voting links show the shared shortlist to anyone with the link. Votes are anonymous.
• Data residency: our database is hosted in the EU.
